Nursing; physical and occupational therapies; meals; nutritional counseling; social work and personal care
provided by a PACE physician familiar with the history, needs, and preferences of each participant
such as audiology, dentistry, optometry, podiatry, speech therapy, and others
PACE provides individuals eligible for nursing home care the option of continuing to live in the community while they receive comprehensive care.
When enrolled in a PACE program, all services including primary care and specialist physician services must be furnished by or authorized by the PACE provider. If services are not authorized by the PACE provider, then the participant may be fully liable for the costs of unauthorized or out of PACE program agreement services.
